The man is standing in front of a large chart showing the League hierarchy. "This", he says, "is my rank", pointing at the Wingleader section. "Now this", he continues while his finger slides further and further down the chart, "is where you are. Maybe someday you'll make it to where I am, possibly even further. But that ain't gonna happen if you guys don't even know which rank is which."
